A recent project of ours brought up a bit of discussion on whether to use images or try and develop a CSS method for creating a digital 8-bit style effect for corners. Since we always like a challenge we decided to go the 100% CSS route and the result was beautiful quick rendering 8-bit style corners requiring zero images. There is only one drawback to using this method; you must use a solid color background in your design. We decided that since there are no tutorials that we could find teaching this method we would release it to the design community; we know it’s a very specific style for specific projects but hopefully one day you might find a use for it. This Fan page design is based off the Nike artwork sent to us. Most unique thing about this facebook tab is the upload pictures and upload video buttons (tutorial coming soon). We also got creative with putting in the fan page photo and video gallery’s.

This is our 1st Custom FBML application that we have designed for a facebook fan page. To learn more on what a “Custom Facebook FBML Application” is, check out method #2 on this tutorial. This facebook tab is probably our most advanced page now, with all sorts of blog feeds inserted. Be on the look out on our tutorial showing how to insert a blog feed and even a twitter feeds into a fan page.
