We designed a very clean and corporate look for The Rella Group. This wordpress website consist of a lot of custom CSS and Javascripts. Coded the footer to always stay at bottom of web page. Make sure to check out the portfolio section.

Acronym

Company Info

Acronym’s actual birthplace is a mystery as he was orphaned by unknown parents before his first birthday. His early memories were of social services, until at age five he was placed with foster parents, a hippy family living in the border town of Calexico California. Constant moving and abject poverty, forced a young mind to internalize itself and find solace in creative writing. In the cramped confines of commune life, he became obsessed with creating new and unusual acronyms, expressing his thoughts and feelings in coded journals. After being arrested at age 14, for tagging his signature a.c.r.o.n.y.m moniker, a guidance counselor in juvenile hall stumbled across his unique communication method and coerced him to translate his writings. Since, his acronyms have been published in over 50 publications including: the New Yorker, Interview magazine, and Rolling Stone. Currently, A.c.r.o.n.y.m has proclaimed a new passion for filmmaking, helming clips for the prophetic street poet Blu on WB records as well a controversial clip entitled “3SOME” for the LA based electro duo The Villains.

This is the 2nd wordpress design project we were hired to do for this client. This site is very graphic heavy with many pngs. Site Design is based off the crazy blood splatted logo. We are very proud of this unique look.

Nervous Records

As one of the longest standing independent record labels in the US, Nervous Records has built its reputation through a willingness to take chances on new sounds and new producers. Nervous was the first American label to sign and release tracks from such dance industry luminaries as Armand Van Helden, Paul Van Dyk and Nuyorican Soul. This spirit has enabled Nervous to build a catalogue of hits that spans the complete range of underground dance and hip hop genres.

The label was famous almost immediately when it started back in 1991 because of its eye-catching, very distinctive cartoon character logo. In addition the first three releases were produced by Roger S., Kenny Dope, and Todd Terry respectively, representing the three best house producers of that time. By 1992 Nervous was featured in magazines like Billboard, DJ Magazine (cover story), Mixmag, and ID, hailed by all as the “Sound of New York nitelife.”

After loving the myspace design so much, Nervous came back to us to design their wordpress Website. We used a couple new cool plugins building this site, including a youtube plugin and flickR gallery plugin.

This wordpress website is designed using a accordion css effect. The goal for the design was to reflect water. We also used a shadowbox js to present the videos in the video gallery.
